at Vineland: Brian Newton enters his second year as Vineland's head coach having led the Fighting Clan to the South Jersey Public A tournament in 2006-2007, and aims to lead the boys to even more success this season.
Before Vineland: Newton swam at Vineland High School for four years and was a major contributor to the 2002 squad that captured the program's fifth South Jersey Public A Sectional title. Newton garnered honorable mention all-conference honors in the 500 free his senior season before swimming for two years at Rowan University in Glassboro. Newton graduated from Rowan with a degree in Health and Exercise Science in December 2006.
